A video explanation of the DSM-5

This video sums up my feelings after reading the APA's website on the upcoming DSM-5. ha! If you are interested, the DSM-5 draft criteria is open for final public comment May 2nd through June 15th, 2012. Click the American Psychological Association's link above and follow their instructions for leaving comments.

  1. Looks like they've admitted they're all just a bunch of Quacks.

Walks like a duck, talks like a duck...

  2. Oh... they used "Chicken." Methinks it's just an unconscious conflict they have with their true identity - a Freudian slip if you will - that they are all a bunch of Ducks - Quack, Quack!

And also too chicken shit to admit that what they do is fraud.

    1. Hi there, Jane Goodall! ha! You're so right---Ducks are better birds for the DSM than chickens.

Let me see if the Cluster B category is easier to understand by simply changing the fowl behavior:

Duck Duck Ducks and ducking ducks.

Ducking duck ducks duck ducking ducks ducking

      Duck duck.

Ducking duck duck duck ducking duck

hahahahahahaha! Try typing that while speaking out loud to yourself. It's hilarious! Another tried-and-true way to make yourself laugh when the roof is falling in on your head and people insist there's no structural problem with the roof. Just you. For being near it.

      Ducking ducks.
